Polo Itaú offers courses and content aimed, mainly, at educators, education secretariat teams, and civil society organizations. All materials made available for free on the platform were developed in partnership with specialists and recognized institutions in the field of education.

About Polo Itaú

Polo Itaú was launched in September 2019, and the following year, as soon as social isolation was implemented, the tool gained even more popularity, since it allowed the project to continue reaching its target audience, even from a distance.
Thus, face-to-face meetings were transformed into e-learning courses, and teachers began to receive curated tips, links, and tools to help them during this challenging period.
The pandemic scenario caused the number of Polo Itaú users to jump, in two months, from 22,000 to 45,000 people, among them teachers, education managers, and representatives of CSOs (civil society organizations).
With this, some needs arose regarding the accessibility, navigability, and interactivity of the platform, and that's when the CodeBit team of specialists went into action.

A new look, several new features

When it reached its 110,000 users, Polo Itaú was integrated with an online course platform that managed content and provided video lessons for students.
Although this tool was reliable and experienced no failures or interruptions, it did not have an interactive visual showcase that attractively displayed available courses in a logical sequence and guided users on their learning journey, indicating beginner, intermediate, and advanced modules.

Our team identified this need and, promptly, worked together to create a true educational journey divided into pathways to deepen knowledge within the proposed themes.
We developed a dynamic knowledge trail, which presents two or more courses with similar themes, as well as complementary materials to reinforce learning. In addition, we grouped the courses in a logical and strategic way, which significantly increased the visibility of the content available on the collective intelligence platform.

In addition to all the work done on the layout and construction of the showcase, we also developed an informative microsite about Polo Itaú, which introduces the project and all the work of the training environment. With this new aesthetic, the main contents became responsive, and consequently, more accessible to tablet and smartphone users.
