Codebit participated in the SERP 360º Workshop, held between March 3rd and 5th at the National School for Training and Improvement of Magistrates, in Brasília. The meeting brought together representatives from the National Board of Justice, including Minister Mauro Campbell himself, and the presidents of three National Registry Operators to discuss the next steps in improving the Electronic System of Public Registries.
Codebit's technology manager, Núbia Lopes, actively participated in the technical debates for the platform's evolution in terms of interoperability. Currently, the manager's team has 19 software professionals dedicated to SERP, in a continuous development that has been ongoing for 4 years.
Established by Law No. 14,382/2022, SERP was created to modernize communication between registry offices and the Judiciary, concentrating information in a single environment. Among the services integrated by the system are: obtaining birth, marriage, and death certificates within the scope of civil registry; national search for property and viewing of land registration records, in real estate registry; and search in the National Guarantees Center (CNG), within the Legal Entities database.
During the workshop, the participants advanced in defining technical and operational guidelines that will guide the evolution of the system nationwide in the short, medium, and long terms.
