Consolidated as the largest meeting of Third Sector management in Latin America, the event organized by Rede Filantropia brought together more than 1,500 managers, entrepreneurs, specialists, and volunteers from Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) at Viasoft Experience.

Diversified programming and relevant thematic tracks

The FIFE 2025 program was extensive and diverse, with more than 100 activities distributed among lectures, debates, workshops, and a Third Sector fair. The activities were organized into six thematic tracks:​

1 - Fundraising: Exploration of innovative strategies to attract donations, including the use of gamification and partnerships with major donors.​

2 - Communication and Marketing: Debates on the challenges of communicating social causes, visibility strategies, and the use of digital influencers.

3 - Legislation: Discussions on legal updates impacting CSOs and how to adapt to regulatory changes.​

4 - ESG and SDGs: Analyses of how Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) can be incorporated by social organizations.​

5 - HR and Institutional Development: Reflections on emotional health, inclusion in the job market, and leadership development within CSOs.​

6 - Emerging Technologies: Practical workshops on management, social projects, and the use of emerging technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence.

Lectures and networking opportunities

During the event, Heitor Cunha, CEO of CodeBit, presented his lecture on the topic "Security against disinformation and Artificial Intelligence", addressing the challenges and solutions in using AI to combat false news. The lecture highlighted how AI tools can be used to identify and mitigate the spread of disinformation.

Heitor discussed which methodologies and tools can be implemented to reduce the damage of disinformation in Brazil, emphasizing the importance of an integrated approach involving civil society, specialists, governments, and digital platforms. 

The use of AI in combating disinformation is a topic of growing relevance. Experts point out that although political disinformation is not new, the difficulty of dealing with the problem is amplified with the advancement of technology, which is capable of leaving an increasing number of users in doubt about what might be false or true. 

In this sense, the implementation of technological tools has become crucial to protecting the integrity of information in the digital era. However, it is equally important to raise awareness about the dangers of deepfakes and educate the public on how to recognize and react to potentially manipulated content. ​

Heitor Cunha's lecture at FIFE 2025 contributed significantly to the debate on the ethical use of AI in protection against disinformation, highlighting the need for collaboration among various sectors of society to face the challenges posed by emerging technologies.

In addition to the scheduled activities, FIFE 2025 also offered ample networking opportunities, allowing participants to share experiences, establish partnerships, and strengthen their contact networks in the sector.
