The Dorina Nowill Foundation for the Blind is a reference in the inclusion of visually impaired people in Brazil. A large part of this work reaches the public through digital means and, for those who depend on accessible resources, an offline system represents much more than a barrier. Therefore, stability is part of the mission.
Since 2022, the Dorina Foundation has trusted CodeBit to develop innovation and technology projects. It all started with the transcription of textbooks for visually impaired people through the Braille Platform and, to this day, continues with dedicated infrastructure management.
What CodeBit does on a daily basis
Monitors the environment 24/7, with an on-call team ready to resolve incidents in real time, at any time.
Protects data with layers of encryption, scheduled backup routines, and identity and permission management.
Manages costs, identifying unnecessary consumption and applying the best practices recommended by AWS.
Meets new demands through a support hours package, with AWS-certified engineers.
For an institution that handles information from served individuals, donors, and partners, governance and security are not optional features. Having well-defined accesses and protected data gives the Foundation more confidence to continue expanding its digital services.
Well-managed technology at the service of inclusion: this is CodeBit's role in this partnership.
