With the rise of remote work and cloud service adoption, traditional VPNs are no longer meeting the security, performance, and scalability demands of modern businesses. For a long time, the IT infrastructure of companies functioned through isolated solutions, with each part taking care of a piece of the puzzle. In view of this, that's where SASE comes in. It replaces the traditional approach, where each security and connectivity solution operates separately, and offers all of this in a coordinated and agile manner.

SASE: As previously discussed, SASE is a solution that unites security and network into a single, cloud-based model. Therefore, it is ideal for companies that have distributed teams, hybrid environments, and intense use of cloud applications and platforms. In this sense, SASE is able to ensure scalability, robust security, optimized traffic, and greater fluidity in the user experience. In view of the above, despite requiring planning and initial cost, it is a viable alternative for organizations that already possess higher digital maturity.

By analyzing these three solutions, it is possible to conclude that choosing between VPN, SDP, or SASE is not about which is "better" overall, but rather which path makes the most sense for your company's current stage. Each solution has its place, its advantages, and its disadvantages; the important thing is to align technology with reality.

What is the importance of cloud infrastructure compatibility?

Of course, all of this only achieves efficient results with well-structured solutions offered by reliable companies equipped with good services and reliable data centers.

What is the role of AI and Machine Learning in Remote Security?

When we talk about remote security, it is no longer possible to treat the subject merely as a trend; it has become an essential part of any company's digital strategy. That is, in times of mobile connections and teams spread across the globe, remote security has ceased to be an option and has become a priority. In this scenario, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) enter the scene, acting as true "digital superheroes" in threat detection and mitigation.

We can state that AI, with the help of Machine Learning, is capable of analyzing tons of data in real-time and identifying patterns that may indicate something suspicious, like an intrusion attempt or unusual behavior, allowing the system to become smarter over time. The future is likely to bring even more advanced models in this area to protect corporate networks.

It is worth highlighting that AI and Machine Learning in remote security are not just tools, but true allies in a scenario where threats evolve by the second.
