Present and future: 5 reflections on the use of technological resources: check it out on the CodeBit blog.

09/16/2022

If technological resources are currently already present in a large part of the tasks performed by people, in the future, they will be indispensable for personal and corporate relationships.

Every day, we are bombarded by technological innovations and, not always, can we keep up with the speed at which new software and solutions emerge.

This demonstrates that it is no longer possible to base perspectives and outlooks for the future without drawing a parallel with technology and innovation. After all, they are the true protagonists of this continuous transformation.

With this in mind, in today's article, we, the CodeBlog team, have listed five facts about the present and, consequently, the future of technology, which provide good reflections. Read on and check it out:

Present and future: Five reflections on the use of technological resources

1. Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence

In the past, the use of artificial intelligence was associated with robots and science fiction movies. Currently, the scenario is different, after all, the resource is present at various moments of daily life through automated solutions such as route apps, facial recognition, advertising on digital panels, smart homes, and much more.

In the future, the tendency is for environments to become increasingly computerized, thanks to advanced AI tools, which can revolutionize the market in general and, especially, make processes in the areas of health and education more practical and efficient, allowing for better monitoring of student performance in classrooms and patient status in hospitals.

2. The evolution of Smart Objects

The so-called Internet of Things is already present, even inside people's homes, in objects that are handled at every moment, such as watches, glasses, and refrigerators.

Together with Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things highlights the presence of technology in the present and how its participation will be even greater in the near future. In this context, even the ultra-technological smartphones used today could become obsolete. After all, observing the constant modernization of accessories such as smartwatches and smart speakers, it is a fact that, in some time, cell phones will not have the same format and will present features, until then, unimaginable.

3. The high volume of data will keep growing

The so-called Big Data is a resource that reflects the entire market demand. The high volume of information transacted in the corporate or personal environment continues to grow, which is why data mining will be even more important in the future. This is because, daily, a lot of content, numbers, and information circulate online or offline, and in both cases, they need to be organized and transformed into coherent actions quickly.

A few years from now, the notions of Business Intelligence will not be seen as "differentiators" in companies, but rather, as true obligations, so that businesses do not get lost amidst so much data and manage to translate them into their reality.

4. Technology will guide the future of consumption

Digital influencers, unboxings, online reviews, recommendations, and much more... without a doubt, technology has been influencing - and greatly - consumption behavior.

Therefore, in the future, consumption in physical stores will no longer be the same and entrepreneurs will have to make an effort to conduct price research beforehand and encourage reviews on the quality of the services offered. Furthermore, post-sale support will need to be in the spotlight to avoid losing customers. Technological resources will make it even clearer that continuing to do "more of the same" will not be an option for companies that want to maintain competitiveness and achieve success.

5. The cognitive experience will be expanded

The trend is for virtual reality to grow more and more and gain new features to progressively enhance the cognitive experience. After all, in a scenario driven by constant innovation and advances, immersion cannot be left aside.

In addition to cognitive experiences, sensory ones will also be explored, especially in retail, to help link brands to other senses that go beyond vision. For this, multi-experience interfaces and immersive applications will be created, very different from those currently available.

Conclusion

More than drawing an outlook between the present and the future of technology, these reflections highlight how fundamental resources are and the importance of people and companies adapting to them so they do not become obsolete.
